Rockers Prove “Rock Isn’t Dead” In New “Long Live Rock” Doc

Filmmaker Jonathan McHugh is out to prove that rock isn’t “dead,” and he’s getting some help from rock n’ roll icons. Members of Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Slipknot and more are featured in a new documentary “Long Live Rock.”

In the doc, the rockers talk about the connection they share with the fans. “It’s a real connection that’s more than like, we’re gonna go play a show, there’s an ocean of people,” says Tom Morello of Rage Against The Machine. “There’s a check at the end of the day. Don’t tell anybody, but I’d do this for free.”

Along with the names we mentioned, there are also appearances by Korn, Five Finger Death Punch, Rob Zombie, Greta Van Fleet, Machine Gun Kelly and Shinedown. “Long Live Rock” premieres on March 11th.
