New Footage Of Nirvana’s “MTV Unplugged” Rehearsal Of “Polly”

New Footage Of Nirvana’s “MTV Unplugged” Rehearsal Of “Polly”

It’s been 25 years since Nirvana delivered one of their most iconic performances for “MTV Unplugged.” Now, fans are getting a new look at the live session with footage of the band’s pre-show rehearsal of “Polly.”

In the clip, the band runs through a relaxed and somehow even more somber version of the “Nevermind” album hit. Kurt Cobain gives the crew some requests, and Dave Grohl can be seen goofing around at his drum kit and lending some background vocals.

The remastered rehearsal footage is featured on the upcoming 25th-anniversary reissue of Nirvana’s “MTV Unplugged In New York,” due for release on November 1st. Pre-order the reissue HERE.
