Metallica Plays National Anthem At Giants vs Rockies Game

This year, the San Francisco Giants’ “Metallica Night” went a little differently. James Hetflield and Kirk Hammett still made an appearance in their jerseys to support the team, rocking the National Anthem… but this time with a virtual performance.

The Giants played against the Colorado Rockies at their home Oracle Park, with no fans in attendance. Decked in Giants uniforms, Hammett and Hetfield shredded the pre-game anthem in a video shot at their studio.
