Foo Fighters Announce New Song & Sake

Foo Fighters are ready to give fans another preview of their new album “Medicine at Midnight,” due for release on February 5th. The band has announced their next single dropping today, “Waiting On A War.”

Frontman Dave Grohl has opened up about the personal meaning behind the song in a Twitter thread. “As a child growing up in the suburbs of Washington DC, I was always afraid of war,” he writes. “I had nightmares of missiles in the sky and soldiers in my backyard, most likely brought upon by the political tension of the early 1980’s and my proximity to the Nation’s Capitol.”

Along with the new single, the band has announced a new sake released in honor of their “Medicine At Midnight” album. The sake brand Tatenokawa has launched “Hansho,” which means “Midnight” in Japanese, available February 5th HERE.
