Dave Grohl’s Hanukkah Series Takes On Mountain’s “Mississippi Queen”

Dave Grohl is continuing on with his series of Hanukkah covers. After starting off the eight-night series with a cover of Beastie Boys’ “Sabotage,” the Foo Fighters rocker and Greg Kurstin have unveiled their take on Mountain’s “Mississippi Queen.”

So far, they’ve covered “Sabotage” and Drake’s “Hotline Bling.” Their latest cover takes fans back to 1970, Grohl taking over on the drums and vocals while Kurstin accompanies him on keys. Dave isn’t the first rock legend to take it on, either, Ozzy Osbourne scored a hit with the song in 2005.

“This was the best one yet,” Dave says after they finish the song. “I think that was pretty damn good.”
